Software Developer, Flavor Farmer, Skateboarder

University of Wyoming
Computer Science graduate

I was invited to be Allyson Anderson's undergraduate teaching assistant. I worked in a team of multiple undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants to guide hundreds of students through 6 semesters of COSC1010: Object-Oriented Programming in Java.
I worked with UWyo's Advanced Research Computing Center to publish a guide for benchmarking CPU and GPU hardware on UWyo ARCC's Teton cluster.
I worked with UWyo's computational chemistry group to generate hypothetical covalent organic frameworks/metal organic frameworks on UWyo ARCC's Beartooth cluster using Python's AuToGraFS API.

Chromatic Typewriter

I couldn't find existing software to represent a chromatic typewriter so I developed one for Android devices to use. I learned all about the Android life cycle and created a really fun offline tool to create 'chromatic typewriterified' images. I published it to the Google Play Store for free so artists like me can enjoy it too! The repository is public and I encourage open source collaboration.

Flavor Farmer

I began my professional career as a contract operations technician at Plenty's Laramie, Wyoming R&D farm. I worked with a team of awesome people to grow strawberries and record data regarding their developmental growth in controlled environment agriculture spaces. I want to live in a world where everyone has access to the most delightfully fresh, astonishingly flavorful produce grown by Plenty.

Skateboarder

I started skateboarding when I was 5 years old. I was hooked by the discipline required to perform increasingly complex ninja-like stunts. Any skateboarder worth their salt learns the greatest lesson in life is that repeated failure and determination leads to success. Skateboarding introduced me to a rich creative culture and vibrant inclusive community I'm proud to associate myself with.
